1.1 The Chair welcomed Members to the meeting of the Culture, Communications, Welsh Language, Sport, and International Relations Committee.
1.2 Apologies were received from Lee Waters MS.
2.1 The papers were noted.
2.2 The Committee agreed to write to the Welsh Government to seek clarity on entry fees to the underground section of the Big Pit National Coal Museum.
2.3 The Committee also agreed to write to the First Minister on matters relating to Welsh Government international relations.
3.1 The Motion was agreed.
4.1 The Committee further considered and agreed the key issues.
5.1 The Committee heard evidence from representatives of the National Library of Wales.
6.1 The Committee considered the evidence received and agreed to write to the National Library, Arts Council of Wales, and Amgueddfa Cymru - Museum Wales requesting additional information on the exact costs incurred as a result of the national contemporary art gallery.
7.1 The Committee considered the approach paper and agreed that Heledd Fychan MS and Lee Waters MS would attend relevant Children, Young People and Education Committee meetings and report back privately to this Committee on a fortnightly basis.
8.1 The Motion was agreed.
9.1 The Committee heard evidence from representatives of the Arts Council of Wales.
10.1 The Committee heard evidence from representatives of Welsh National Opera, including Adele Thomas, Incoming General Director.
11.1 The Committee considered the evidence received.
11.2 The Committee agreed to write to the Welsh Government to express its concern about the financial position of the Welsh National Opera.
